Key Volunteer Responsibilities: Volunteers will inspect and sort produce food donations.
Check for expired labels on packaged goods.
Check the integrity of food products. Look for mold, decay, open skin on fruit and bugs.
Sort food products.
Box items for warehouse storage prior to distribution.
Age: Open to volunteers who are 8 or older. Individuals 8-15 years of age must volunteer with
an adult who is 18 years of age or older.
Location: Hawaii Foodbank Warehouse

Time Commitment: One four-hour shift (7 am to 11 am or 8 am – 12 pm) anyday, Monday –
Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Dress Code: Covered shoes (heels and toes must be covered). Comfortable clothing. Shorts
must be mid-thigh in length or longer. Shirts must have sleeves and midriffs must be covered.
